Prepares Accounts Payable checks weekly and/or as needed.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Receives invoices daily and matches to appropriate purchase order and receiving report.

matches invoices in HBOC system to process invoices for payment.
Responsible for processing Accounts Payable checks every other week.
Ensures accuracy of Accounts Payable check runs and resolves any discrepancies.
Ensures checks are matched with remittance copies of invoices.
Ensures checks are stuffed into envelopes and mailed each week.
Maintains and files remittance copies of checks and invoices in an orderly fashion for quick reference.
Ensures vendor information is accurately recorded in the accounting system.
Files copies of Accounts Payable checks.
Answers inquiries from hospital associates and vendors regarding purchase order, invoice data, and accounts payable checks.
Research old outstanding checks and determines where to send re-issued check to.
Other duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma/GED required.
Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
Minimum Years of
Experience:
2 to 3 years' experience in accounts payable required.
Additional
Experience:
High level of competency with Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook Strong organizational and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in entering financial data Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to manage multiple tasks.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
