Opelousas, LA Opelousas, LA Full-time Full-time $15 - $16 an hour $15 - $16 an hour 22 hours ago 22 hours ago 22 hours ago The Foundation Assistant assists the Foundation Director in fundraising efforts and planning, managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining contacts, utilizing the Customer Relationship Database and organizing scheduled meetings and appointments.
Performs routine office support tasks including sorting and distributing mail, photocopying, faxing, typing and filing.
Establishes, maintains and revises record keeping and filing systems.
Makes appointments, schedules conferences and meetings, both within and outside the facility, and performs other duties related to maintaining supervisor's personal schedule, exercising discretion in commitment of supervisors time.
Receives incoming telephone calls, screens, routes calls appropriately and/or provide information as necessary.
Serves as liaison between community partners and the Director.
Performs special assignments and other duties as required.
Adapts to changing situations and communicates with ease throughout all levels of the organization, internally and externally.

Maintain filing systems Running errands as needed for the Foundation Update and maintain office policies and procedures Organize and schedule meetings Education:
High School Diploma/GED required, Vocational/Technical Degree in Business or related field preferred.
Experience:
3 years clerical experience required.
Additional Experience Preferred Quickbooks knowledge Customer Relationship Manager experience Computer skills including all Microsoft applications Organizational and excellent communication skills Must be able to manage multiple tasks Attention to detail and problem solving skills Job Type:
