The Events and Social Media Coordinator must be willing to work at both Westminster campuses.
General Description:
The Events and Social Media Coordinator is charged with the responsibility for extensive events coordination, public relations, graphic design, and marketing WCA through social media as well as being an active participant in the Department of Institutional Advancement.
He/she shall understand and be able to articulate a Biblical world and life view that honors God in all activities associated with the office to the praise and glory of God.

The Events and Social Media Coordinator shall exhibit integrity in the development and maintaining of relationships, while leading the institution in the above-mentioned endeavors.

Responsibilities:

1 Fundraising:
Plan, organize and promote God-honoring techniques to develop general financial support for the school (see Events Coordination) Facilitate and motivate the participation of volunteer supporters in seeking funds for the school Assist the Director in planning, organizing, promoting and implementing all sanctioned Institutional Advancement fundraisers (including but not limited to events listed in Event Coordination) 2.
2 Events Coordination:
Plan and execute major fundraising and friend-raising events such as the Summer Picnics, Homecoming Activities, Winter/Spring Market & Festival, the Annual Golf Scramble, Gala, and potentially one other fundraising event each year Oversee provision of notices, invitations and publicity Train volunteers for key events Continually educate oneself in the use of technology Maintain and promote a welcoming environment with all activities of the office Provide timely material for media attention and seek appropriate publicity for all school-related activities.

3 Social Media:
Create appropriate, attention-catching content for social media that promotes WCA events, initiatives, and services and stay current with campus news and events Engage and respond to inquiries/comments on various platforms in a timely manner Develop strategies to increase followership and engagement Stay current on social media trends to maintain a competitive and relevant edge Create individualized social media strategies for different platforms Assist the Director in promoting a unified image for the school Address and report complaints, insensitive content, copyright infringements, negative press, etc.

The Events and Social Media Coordinator is one that has received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
He/She shall faithfully attend and financially support a local church whose fundamental beliefs are in agreement with the Westminster Statement of Faith.
The Events and Social Media Coordinator shall possess a high school diploma or its equivalent, minimally.
A degree from an accredited college or university in graphic design or public relations or related fields is desirable.
The Events and Social Media Coordinator shall be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
The Events and Social Media Coordinator shall have a minimum of 1-year experience working with an executive officer.
